New York City Drama Trip
Every third year, the Carroll Freedom Players take a 3 day trip to New York City. What better city in the world for students to absorb the magic of theatre? By pairing skill building workshops, which are taught by Broadway professionals, with two Broadway shows, students are able to hone their theatrical skills and then see those same skills put to work by Broadway performers. Students will also tour famous theaters such as Apollo Theater, Radio City Music Hall, Lincoln Center, and Broadway itself. Local attractions, food and fun are enjoyed by the students as the hustle and bustle of NYC surrounds them.
